Three steps, and the client stays yours.
01
Send the financial statements
Provide the most recent audited financial statements, including the signed audit report and audit management letter, along with the best contact for the audit.
02
Receive a fixed-fee quote
We review the documents and provide a fixed-fee audit quote directly to the client. We can keep you copied into communications if you prefer.
03
A coordinated audit process
We work with the accounting records and supporting documentation you prepare. Audit queries and requests for further information are directed to the client, with your assistance sought where appropriate.
What changes for you, and what doesn’t.
Why refer the audit?
When an organisation requires an audit, referring the engagement to Audit Edge allows you to retain your accounting relationship while the audit is conducted independently. Our director is a Registered Company Auditor, qualified to undertake audits requiring an RCA.
Your accounting relationship stays with you
Audit Edge focuses exclusively on audit services. You can continue providing your client with bookkeeping, tax, accounting and advisory services while we independently conduct the audit and report to the organisation’s board or committee.
Working around your deadlines
We understand that audit timing can affect financial reporting and lodgement deadlines. Let us know the relevant due dates when you refer an engagement so we can discuss the scope, information requirements and timing with you and your client.
Request an audit quote.
To help us prepare an accurate audit fee proposal, please provide the following documents:
01
Prior-year audited financial statements
02
Prior-year audit management letter
03
Draft financial statements for the financial year requiring an audit, if available
Once we have reviewed the relevant information, we will provide an audit fee quote for your client.
