Published thresholds
Your revenue
1 – Thresholds are based on guidance published by ACNC, QLD Office of Fair Trading and Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC), current as at September 2026. QLD incorporated associations are assessed against both revenue and current asset thresholds. Medium and large Aboriginal corporations are generally required to have an audit regardless of income, subject to applicable exemptions. Companies are subject to separate reporting and audit requirements under the Corporations Act 2001.
2 – A charity with revenue of $3 million or more must be audited by a registered company auditor, an audit firm or an authorised audit company.
Registered Company Auditors must meet ASIC’s stringent registration requirements under the Corporations Act 2001. Registration also brings ongoing regulatory obligations and ASIC oversight.
